fighting with a mouse

mouses aren't that expensive ... maybe an early christmas present for yourself?
oh no my family has an unwritten, not official spoken rule about buying things for yourself after turkey day and before xmas. It is a major no no! lol

It works out nicely anyway, I was asked to keep my Xmas list inexpensive this year. (I usually do, with the exception of the ones marked "if you win the lottery I would like this")

There really is not a whole lot of things that I feel comfortable asking for anyway, because I have what I really need and anything else is just wishful thinking. If it is too expensive for me to buy it is too expensive for my friends and family to buy, so why ask for it. So I save the little things to put on my list when asked what I want for Xmas.
ah. sorry. it slipped my mind about christmas lists. i've neither written nor received one in, jeez, many many many years ...
I think my family still goes thru the routine of making up lists and exchanging presents because it keeps my sister and I 'mommy and daddy's little girls' and it keeps Mom and Dad younger than they really are. I do not know if that is coming out how I mean it. I think Christmas does not only hold a tradition meaning for my family and I, but it acts almost as a time machine once every year. For that one day we get to have fun opening presents like little kids and my parents get the chance to believe that all is right in the world and we are safe and happy. Gee that sounds so melodramatic. I think I will quit there. Time for me to head off to bed anyway.
Maybe if you go to the driver that's uh, well driving your mouse, you can switch your clicks. Okay, that probably doesn't make a lot of sense...let me try again. Your mouse requires a driver. (its a program that interprets your devise). A lot of these programs will allow you to designate which button becomes the left button. As in the right becomes the left button and the left becomes the right button. Contrary to popular belief a mouse really doesn't know left from right, as its a human construct. Uh, this isn't making any sense to you, is it? Well, maybe you can fudge your list restraints and pick one up at the thrift store? Just a thought... :-)
My mouse is not so bad yet that I will break down and get it before Xmas. The idea about changing the left click and right click is a very good idea, thanks Raymond I had not thought of it. Right now I just have to be a little more firm with my clicks to make sure they go through, so it is not to the point yet where it does not work.
Well, okey dokey, whatever melts your butter...oh, I just had a thought...you're an electrician? Just switch the wires and the clicks will switch...of course, you probably have this phobia againist changing the colors of the wires...here's an idea...wrap the wires in black tape before you swap the clicks apart...uh, well, maybe Santa will bring you a mouse.... have a good one dear friend :-)
I must confess I was being a little melodramatic when I complained about my mouse, it really is not too bad, just bad enough to be annoying because I forget it is getting bad. It also probably does not help that I swatted an annoying fly that had landed on the mouse. That is when I noticed the trouble starting. I guess you are not supposed to beat on the mouse, LOL. That always seems to be the real root to why things get broke around me, because some how I do something shouldn't or don't do something I should and things start falling apart and breaking down. You would think I would start to learn. lol
[this is good]
Glad it wasn't "this mouse", but "that mouse"! :) Cute.
i understood what you were saying. ;)
that is actually a picture of a mouse that I found napping in our bathtub drain last year. apparently it got tired from running away from the cats and decided to hide in the one room the cats can not get too. LOL it was so cute I had to take a picture or 2 or 3 lol, and then I got an empty soda cup, scooped it up and released it outside, with a stern warning to take advantage of the second chance and not come back inside with the kitties. lol
